Questions You Should Answer Before Buying Something

  1. Did I come Here For This?

Often, we end up buying more things than we need because they were in our way. In fact, that’s the reason Supermarkets are strategically organized, and products are sometimes so beautifully packed so we can see more them “on our way to the cashier” and put them on our baskets.

      2. Is it a “One Moment Craving”?

Another valid question would be, Am I going to want it tomorrow? If you can’t answer this one, try to forget about the product for a couple of days. If you get to forget about the item, you didn’t really want the product.

      3. Does it fit me?

This one is mostly related to clothes and shoes. We often buy clothes without trying them on first. It’s really common for people to buy the wrong size clothing. Maybe you saw the most beautiful coat and decided to buy it straight away because it was a possibility that the coat didn’t fit you.

Maybe you want to lose some weight, and for sure these too tight pants are going to help you…Don’t risk it. It’s better to buy something that you can start using from the moment you buy it, not just to give yourself the pleasure to use it, but to avoid possible future disappointments.

      4. Will I Use It?

That stylish sunglasses rocked, summer was coming and they looked amazing on me. I ignored the fact that I had never wear sunglasses before, I ignored how weird it would be to have them on for a long time on, and they didn’t really fit with my style at that time. Still, I bought them, and along two years, I just have used them three times. It’s probably one of the expensive items I regret buying the most.

    5) Can I Touch It?

Sounds weird, right? Well, I am all about online shopping. It’s great and fun to buy whatever you want from your bed, with just a simple click, often with further discounts than the store can offer you.

Nevertheless, you can get an unpleasant surprise when the item arrives. Maybe it doesn’t look like the picture, or it’s the wrong size (if we are talking about clothing), or the quality is not as good as we expected.

To avoid this, remember to read all of the reviews, visit the store and check in person the product is it’s possible, read always the description and check the efficiency of the return policy, so you don’t the second nasty surprise when, with the disappointing item on your hands, you read that you need to pay more and wait too long for it to be returned/refunded.
